2,001 Hours of Service Challenge Begins TODAY!

Jerry ChanReunions

In honor of our 20th Reunion, we are issuing a challenge to our class to complete 2,001 hours of community service—in a socially-distanced way—in your own communities. After all, “Princeton in the Nation’s Service and the Service of Humanity” applies even during a pandemic!

This is a flexible project—we’re leaving it up to you to choose how best to serve. Take food to a food bank, write letters for a cause online, or pick up trash in your neighborhood—all that matters is that it’s serving others and the world! Remember, no contribution is too small, and every half hour counts. We even have an option for those of you who have more money than time: donate to any community-focused organization you choose, and you can log a minute for every dollar you donate.

Visit our Community Service page to find activity suggestions and to log your hours and donations. Email us here if you have meaningful service activity ideas to share with others and we’ll add them to the list. We’ll include special recognition for all of our volunteers in our class get-together Saturday, May 22, before the V-rade (exactly one month from today)!  And hopefully, in 2022 we’ll be able to do a service activity socially-together!

Go Tigers! Get out there and do some good!
