Class of 2001's 7th Reunion
Thursday, May 29th - Sunday, June 1st
Registration: FREE! (Yes... this means a FREE weekend of friends, fireworks, P-Rade festivities, beer, and bands!) Questions? Check out our Reunion FAQs
May is fast approaching and with that comes Reunions. I hate to break it to everyone - but with this being our 7th Reunion - it's official: we're OLD. There is, however, good news in all of this...Reunions is FREE this year! To encourage everyone to come back, the 7th reunion is FREE - that is, no registration fee for you, your spouse/guest, and your kids. So break out the beer jacket, start speed-memorizing the yearbook, and make your way back to Ol' Nassau!
Since it's the 7th Reunion, we don't have on-campus housing this year, but the same buses will run between campus and the Route 1 hotels as they do every year. I have also heard great things about Tiger Camp for your little Tigers-in-training if you're interested in bringing your kids back with you, but would like a safe and interesting place for them to enjoy Reunions while you catch up with friends. You can find more information on all of these topics at the University's Reunions 2008 website.
We are also pleased to introduce our 10th Reunion Chair, LEE GODDARD '01. Lee will be in touch with the Class again in coming months, as she looks for Classmates interested in being a part of our 10th Reunion Committee. If you have any questions about Reunions - for this year or in years ahead - please contact Lee at goddard(at)alumni.princeton.edu.
The Class of 2001 is excited to announce that our 5th Reunion has been selected as the winner of this year's Class of 1947 James Scott Clancy Memorial Reunion Trophy. The Clancy, the most coveted and hardest to win of all reunion trophies, is awarded annually to the major reunion Class judged to have best planned and carried out reunion. The award dates back to 1976, and it's important to note that this is only the third time a 5th Reunion has ever won the Clancy Award. Thanks to our 5th Reunion Chairs—Pete Cox and Adam Sorenson—their incredibly hard-working team, and all of you who made it back to campus in June to reconnect and to celebrate. Our Class' ivy just climbed a little higher up the side of Nassau Hall.
5TH REUNION:
